Step 1: How to make the base (and what you need)
300g strong bread flour
1 tsp instant yeast
1 tsp salt
1 tsp olive oil
Put the flour into a bowl, stir in the yeast and salt. Make a well and pour in 200ml of warm water, followed by the olive oil. Mix together to create a soft dough and then turn out onto a floured surface. Knead the mixture for 5 minutes and then cover with a tea towel... whilst you make the sauce.
